15 hurt in Ctg clash

At least 15 people, including eight policemen, were injured in a clash between the police and locals after Eid prayer at Sitakunda upazila of Chittagong on Saturday.
Police fired 14 rounds of rubber bullets and charged baton to disperse the clashing people, reports our Chittagong Correspondent.
Locals said the clash erupted when a group of people ransacked a salon and a grocery shop after attending Eid prayer at Sitakunda bazar around 10:00am alleging that the salon men played music in loudspeaker during the prayer.
Police rushed the spot and use baton to calm the angry people while the unruly locals threw brick chips on the members of law enforcers.
There is no report of bullet injuries and the situation is now under control.
