Thirteen policemen were killed and two injured when Maoists exploded a landmine in a forest in eastern Indian state of Jharkhand on Saturday.
"The incident has been reported in the forests in Bhandaria Police Station of Garhwa district and details are awaited,” Superintendent of Police Michael Raj said.
He said the landmine went off when an anti-landmine vehicle carrying police personnel was passing through the area, reports our New Delhi correspondent.
