Scholarship Name: Dutch Bangla Foundation Scholarship

 

Feature of Scholarship: Dutch Bangla Bank Foundation awards Scholarships to meritorious and needy students studying at deferent level i.e. HSC, Bachelor & Masters degree for full academic period. The Foundation also awards Fellowships for conducting research at M.Phill, PhD. & Post-Doctoral level.

 

As a part of Dutch Bangla Bank Foundation’s Scholarship program for meritorious and needy students of the country, the Foundation has decided to award scholarships who passed HSC or equivalent examination in 2010. Applicants are invited for Dutch-Bangla Bank Foundation Scholarship from the students fulfilling the following minimum requirements:

 

Level of Scholarship/Academic Level: Undergraduate/Bachelor

 

Scholarship Duration: 2-5years (Renewable)

 

Facility:

Monthly Scholarship: Tk.2500/-

Annual Grant for Reading Materials: Tk.5000/-

Annual Grant for Clothing: Tk.1000/-

 

Eligibility for the Scholarship:

Applicants must be passed HSC or Equivalent exam in 2010.

Applicants must have GPA 4.50 (without 4^th subjects) out of GPA5.0 for all groups.

 

Others Criteria of Scholarship:

The scholarship will be renewable from year to year basis for the entire duration of a particular course subjects to satisfactory result/academic performance duly certified/recommended by the Principal/Institutional Head.

Students availing scholarship from others sources will not qualify for Dutch Bangla Bank Foundation (DBBF) Scholarship. In case of opting for DBBF scholarship one has to surrender the scholarship now availing (if any) from others course.

 

A DBBF Scholarship holder shall not apply for others scholarship. In case of availing others scholarship he/she will have to surrender the DBBF Scholarship.

 

90% scholarship will be earmarked for rural students who have passed from the intuition situated outside of City Corporation areas.

 

 

50% scholarship will be earmarked for female students.

 

Application Deadline: 15 March, 2011

 

Apply Procedure:

Prescribed application form will be available  in all the branches of Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited, Where there is no branch of Dutch-Bangla Bannk Limited, the applicants may apply in plain paper giving personal, academic and contact detail.

 

Application Submission Procedure:

Application should reach to Head of Dutch-Bangla Bannk Foundation, Senakalyan Bhaban (5^th Floor), 195 Motijheel C/A, Dhaka-1000 on or before March 15, 2011.

 

Supporting Documents:

Along with application 4copies recent passport size photograph, copies of certificates & marksheet (all documents will be duly attested by the present institutional head/department head)

 

Income certificates father/mother/guardian from 2 different sources and recommendation from the present Intuitional Head/Department Head.
