DHAKA: The body of Bangladeshi national Shariful Islam was flown back here on Monday from Saudi Arabia where he had been killed in a road accident on February 21.
A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the body landed on Monday noon at Shahjalal International Airport.
His first namaj-e-janaza was held at a mosque in city’s Banani DOHS area at 9pm Monday and the second one at his village home at 11am on Tuesday.
Later, his body was buried at his family graveyard after the Namaj-e-janaza.
Earlier on February 21, he was killed in a head-on collision between two cars on Riyadh-Dammam highway in Saudi Arabia.
