A helper of a bus was crushed under the wheels of his bus at Mohakhali in the city Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile, body of an unidentified person was found near Lotus Tower in Khilkhet area around 4:30am. Police believe he was also killed in a road crash.
Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Gulshan Police Station, identified the bus helper as Liakat Hossain, 31.
Describing the incident, the OC said, Liakat was crushed under the wheels of his Gulistan-bound bus at Mohakhali intersection around 7:15am while he was trying to board on the running bus after picking passengers from there.
Police seized the bus while its drive managed to escape, the OC added.
Abdus Sattar, sub-inspector of Khilkhet Police Station, said the victim at the age of around 40, might have been killed in a road accident.
The bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
