Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Secretary Zafar Ahmed Khan, who recently visited South Africa, said at least 50 Bangladeshis have lost their lives in attacks by assailants.
“We have had Ministerial-level meetings over the matter. We suggested to the Bangladeshi community to report to police every incident,” he said.
“We have learned that three Bangladeshis were killed by miscreants. Deputy High Commissioner Daud Ali is at the scene at this moment,” said Hossain.
