FENI: A woman and her minor girl were killed and her husband injured as a truck rammed their motorbike in Panchgachia union Bazar area of Sadar Upazila on Feni-Noakhali road on Monday night.
The deceased were identified as Shamima Akter, 22, wife of Ripon and their seven-month-old baby girl Sanjida.
Feni Model Thana Officer-in-Charge Nazim Uddin told banglenews, “A motorcycle carrying a family was crashed under the wheel of a truck while the biker was trying to overtake the truck in the area at around 11:00pm, leaving two dead on the spot and one injured critically. He was admitted to Feni Sadar Hospital”
On information, police rushed to the spot and sent the bodies to Feni Sadar Hospital morgue. Police seized the truck but driver managed to flee the scene.
